Airport buses from VSS venue to Sarajevo
We have gotten the question when the first bus will leave the venue after the VSS. The schedule for the buses is not ready yet but will hopefully be published in the next coming weeks. For those who are booking flights now we would recommend in general to book afternoon flights because of distance from the venue to the airport. The first bus will most likely leave early in the morning and be at the airport around noon, meaning not book flights before 12am. If needed to book flights before that time please contact Frederik at frederik.jensen@afs.org or Inga at inga.menke@afs.org. We of course also recommend, if possible to take couple of days to discover Sarajevo and the beautiful countryside of Bosnia and Herzegovina which you can find information about in last and coming Heralds. Travel
Participants will cover travel costs themselves. Please note that this year unfortunately there will be no VSS bus. As a participant you have to arrive either before 17:00 local time in Sarajevo International Airport (SJJ), where we have busses going to the venue, or at the venue before 20:00 on the 21st July. If you think of coming by plane, we recommend that you buy your ticket as soon as possible following the before-mentioned times. If you are going by plane, and it is not possible for you to be in the airport before 17:00 local time, please contact Frederik Jensen. Another alternative to the plane is to take a bus. Sarajevo is well-connected to Europe through Eurolines (link this to: https://www.eurolines.com/en/countries/bosnia-herzegovina/) which offers great and cheap fares. Participation Fee
The fees are set according to the table below. Be aware that you will have to pay them in advance to the event and that, by doing so, you agree to the cancellation policy.
